Hi Cadance, you can also search through one of the general property platforms that list many of the available properties. You could for instance try to search on google buy amsterdam apartment and click on one of the top listings. Once you have found a place of interest I would use a real estate agent. Even though the risk of buying something in a bad state, your estate aent can make sure you not renting or buying a disaster. The Dutch real estate agents tend to be cheaper then estate agents in many other parts of the world.
I would tend to buy on one of the famous canals or in the Jordaan area. There is only very limited supply of properties and I can not see you loose money on your investment. there will always be demand for such prime location.
