Review

The exhibition on the Dutch role in shipping hundreds of thousands of black slaves to colonies on the American continent was thought-provoking and evocative. What an evil trade it was. Interesting to note that the Dutch/English etc didn't introduce slavery to Africa. It was already established and was the wretched 'lot' of captives in tribal warfare. But the scale of slavery was the responsibility of the colonial powers.
