The hotel itself was fantastic, really interesting layout and the view of the canal was beautiful. Also, the hotel is in a great location, within generally good walking distance from most things and far enough away from the red light distrct. All staff were very friendly however, a little less proffesional for what I would expect from a five star hotel. We had a problem with our room we were initially alocated and staff were not as helpful as they should have been. Also, breakfast service was a severe letdown as the attention we recieved was horrendous. This unfortunately gave the impression of a poorly organised hotel.
